AN ENJOYABLE TRIP

This week is really enjoyable for me because we went Mons Clint on wednesday as an international students instead of Peter's course. I think it was magnificient. We went back seventy millions years ago. Firstly we were informed about the sea creatures which were alive seventy millions year ago and there are fossils of them under the sea. Then we watchesda super fılm with 3D . It was about to how the chalk formed in Mons Clint. After this film we ate somethıng and began our tiring but enjoyable trip to seaside. I collected lots of stones which are really strange of shapes. We came across some body parts of dead creatures and we also collected them. I always keep them with me as a souvenir from Denmark .The sea was really charming to me. The time came and we climbed 495 steps. When I saw 495 steps I was shocked but fortunately I achieved climbing all of them. The weather was really cold but I really enjoy this trip and learn a lot about dead sea creatures and how Denmark formed seventy millions year ago. Thank you Peter and Dorte...

I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART

You're my man , my mighty king,

And I'm the jewel in your crown,

You're the sun so hot and bright,

I' m your light-rays shining down,

You're the sky so vast and blue,

And I'm the white clouds in your chest,

I'm a river clean and pure,

Who in your ocean find her rest,

You're the mountain huge and high,

I'm the valley green and wide,

You're the body firm and strong,

And I'm a rib bone on your side,

You're an eagle flying high,

I'm your feathers light and brown,

You're my man my mighty king,

And I'm the jewel in your crown.

Nima Akbari

I thought love was just a mirage of the mind,

it's an illusion , it's fake , impossible to find.

But the day I met you , I began to see,

that love is real , and exists in me.

Chris Farmer

Love is the greatest feeling. It is a great emotion that keeps people going strong. Love is like a lump of gold , hard to get , and hard to hold . Love is like a smile. Love is what I feel for you each and every day . I love you with all my heart , my dear father...

TEACHING PRACTICE AND DEMOCRACY :)

We waited that day very much and in the end we could go to the teaching practice. We went really nice school and students are really friendly to us. They asked us questions about our own country , we tried to answered them , they are really clever . We observed them and recorded a video some of them for our democracy and citizenship project. As I observed , teachers pay attention to perform democracy in classes they have. Students are effective in participation of courses , free to express their own opinions . They always listen carefully other friends' opinions so they are respectful to each other . They said that they will have democracy classes at eight grade and I think they will be more and more democratic people. I have a chance for comparing my country's education system with Denmark thanks to teaching experience and I see that Denmark is really effective in democracy and they apply democracy in their whole life and teachers belive that democracy must be connecten to education and I think they do their best at that point...

OHH MY DEAR BICYCLE!!

One day Dorte asked us whether we wanted to bicycle or not and we wanted... I was too excited because I really like riding a bike and even in Turkey I have a bicycle . The day came and we hired our bikes with Burcu . Unfortunately I couldn't ride it because it was too big for me . At that moment I was disappointed but Ididn't throw in the towel . I tried again and again . The other day we went to the shopping with our bikes and I got out of my bike on the street. Everyone saw me , I didn't know what to do , I was ashamed . Burcu couldn't help laughing at me ,I saw her and also I began laughing too....:) Fortunately I didn't hurt myself . The other day we gave our bikes back I was full of sadness because there wasn't any small bike for me . I said good bye to my bike and my experience with my bike ended before it began...

TSUNAMI and EARTHQUAKE in JAPAN

I really want to share my sadness about the Japan eartquake. the earthquake hit off the north-east coast of Japan I was shocked when I saw the peoples' situation after the eartquake . The pictures are horrible . The tsunami moved everything in its path . People have taken the photos of hundreds of ships and houses on top of houses . Fortunately , international rescue teams have been helping search for survivors . The international help such as The British rescue team has been sent to Ofunato along with teams from the US and China . Rescuing people after a tsunami is particularly difficult but they do their best , ı think . They search the area with sniffer dogs. The dogs identify the buiıldings in which there may be survivors . Teams use listening equipment and heat imaging devices to help them locate any survivors in the rubble and now the massive relief effort continues . A charity concerned about the psychosocıal effects of the disaster on children and it is really important issue for the country's future . "Japan : A fragile country at the mercy of nature " says Hugh Levinson , ı strongly agree and he is right to his saying...

AN EXPECTED ONE

I wanted to tell you the day Zehra's coming from Turkey to Denmark... That day was really special for me because one of our friends came to Denmark for studying at University College of Sjaeland as us. She ia a little bit late because of the visa... I was so excited . She got on the plane at 13.45 and would be in Denmark nearly at 19.30 Burcu and me got our friend from the station of Vordingborg .The time hadn't passed even though we did lots of staff things. We ate our supper and at 19.00 we went to the station and began to wait. the tarin came after ten minutes later and we saw Zehra with her huge luggage. We forgot everything and gave a huge hug to each other. We had missed her very much and also were looking forword to her coming. We helped her move the huge luggage and got her to the dormitory. We placed her clothes to her wardrobe and together we came to Domea where we live with Burcu . We drank some coffee and began talking about ourselves and Turkey :) She had lots of news we didn't know surely :) Then we let her sleep because she was too tired . To be honest Iam really happy to see her with us and I miss her so much . Fortunately she is now with us and now sleeping... From now on we are again at the same way in learning experience but now the only different part of our life is being in beautiful Denmark... :)

A WONDERFUL DAY IN VORDINGBORG

Burcu and me decided to explore some new areas , especially brand roads , in Vordingburg. After having breakfast we wrapped up , put on our coats and in the end we stroke out. We were lucky because the weather was really good. Suddenly we diverged from the street we hadn't seen before... We were really startled when we saw houses because they are all duplex and nearly all of them have a garden , a private garage. We recognized that they don't need to cover the whole window with curtain as the case in Turkey also they don't need protection for their windows against the thieves maybe because it doesn't occur such cases in Denmark . To be honest ı thınk so ... We wanted to take these wonderful houses' pictures and they let us . They are too understanding and friendly in this issue as they are in every issue.... One more thing also attracked our attention and it was that the streets were very clean and we didn't come across any garbage in the town . ıt is so nice for Danish people , ı think... As for the markets and shops , they are closed at 17.00 p.m. We are surprised to hear that because in Turkey generally shops and markets aren't closed until 24.00 p.m. :) so that we were hurried to do some shopping for our home because we didn't have any bread to eat that night . Fortunately we caught before the shops were closed . To sum up that day as the other day passed . ıt was wonderful for me . I am really happy to live with Danish people in Denmark but ı am really sad about my limited time
...:(

THEY ARE ALL IN MY HEART

Today ı learn that being seperate from one's family dosen't mean being seperate from their heart. My aunt's husband was at the hospital yesterday. Forunately he is now really well . The first person was me for my aunt to call , say and want my help... When ı am in Turkey ıt always comes through like that , so my aunt called me firstly . I was shocked and didn't know what to do at that moment . I understand that being far away from my family is very bad and hard . I couldn't sleep a second that night and waited a phone call from my aunt to know his situation . That night was the most difficult one I have lived in Denmark. Fortunately my aunt called me at midnight and said to me that he is well now... I can easily take a breath the moment ı hear that perfect news. Even if Iam miles away from my family their problems are again mine and so they are ... They are all in my heart...

A BROAD SMILE ON HER FACE

That day came and 13.45 ı had to get on the plane ı had been down but on the other side ı was really happy... ı had to appear happy not to upset my mother in fact she was really sad because we had never been apart from each other. She was holding herself for crying hard and me too... We were coming to Denmark with my classmate called Burcu she had been very supportive to me because of the fact that ı thanked her so much. the time came ı hugged my mother and gave her a huge kiss said good bye to her and got on the plane with Burcu. My mother was really hard to say good bye and tears in her eyes floated and me too...

After three and half hours we were in Denmark. When we got off the plane one lady from Denmark said us to welcome she had really broad smile on her face and ı never forget her smiling face im my all life... We got our passports controlled and also a man , controlling our passports , was smiling to us which was calm me down. We had to catch the train to Vordingborg so we needed a ticket. Burcu kept an eye our bags and ı went to buy our train tickets. I gave 700 dkk to a man and than he said to me that:' Oh my God! it is too much for two tickets ı need only 70 dkk... Maybe the next time ı don't give your money back. Be careful young lady!' he laughed at me a lot and so did ı ı was confused because of teh excitement :) but that didn't end and we got on the train . ıt was two storied and there was nobody on the second floor. Burcu and me decided to sit there . We carried our huge luggage ,approximately thirty kilos each , to the second floor . After ten minutes later a man came to near us to cost control. As ı saıd before that didn't end ... He said to us: ' You are sitting in business class but your tickets aren't for business class. Please go down and sit first floor.' We were disappointed and ashamed... We again carried our luggage to the first floor :) and at the end we came to Vordingborg.

In the station we tried to call Trine but our phones didn't work. At that moment we didn't know what to do. Isaw some guys witing for the next train and drinking beer. I was hesitant a moment but then went their side and wanted their help. If ı were in Turkey I couldn't want such guy's help because they are not so smart as Danish people to be honest they were so helpful and kind and thanked them a lot. I called Trine from one of their phones . I was too happy and finally Trine and Martin came and got us our dormitory . What day it was ...;)
